I was so excited to see this film. The greatest battle between the two most famous movie monsters of all time; King Kong & Godzilla! The American monster versus the Japanese monster, the ultimate showdown! It wasn't that good... It was actually pretty disappointing. The American version starts with a news reporter giving the latest updates on Godzilla, who is attacking Japan. The scenes with the news reporter are really stupid and were only put there to add Americans. Then, these business workers go to an island where a tribe worships King Kong. They capture Kong and bring him to Japan where he finds Godzilla and they start to fight. Kong retreats and starts to wreak havoc on Japan. To get Kong to stop, they put him to sleep and transport him to Godzilla. The fight they have is ten minutes and completely worth it. It's so stupid yet funny and awesome. Kong also has the electricity superpower and uses it to shock Godzilla. It's a great scene but it wasn't worth sitting through all that boring nonsense.
