3.5
Jurassic Park III the weakest of the original trilogy in my opinion but it's still enjoyable. JP3 is the first in the series not to be based oiff a Micheal Chriton Novel but that doesn't affect anything too much. Sam Neil returns as Dr. Alan Grant and we see him with Ellie, his jappily married wife and they apparently have two ki- Wait a sec.........They're not married. Ellie has apparently married and settled down and had kids with someone else but her and Alan are good friends. Alan Grant gets an offer from a wealthy couple to fly them over Isla Sorna and because they're rich and since he hasn't learned anything from the first he accepts. They then crash on the island and are stranded. Dr. Grant then figures out that his "hosts" are not what they seem. Overall, JP 3 is the weakest of the original 3 but it's not bad. For the first time the dinosaurs look fake due to the superior use of CGI to Animatronics but there are some good action scenes however there is a way too short fight scene between tthe T-Rex and the new baddie: Spinosaurus which caused outrage and argument between JP Fans and Scientists.
