I'm done trying to understand movie critics & picky movie fans. just saw Godzilla & its the best summer blockbuster I've seen in 6 years easily. What exactly was the film's main problem? Pacing? Wooden Acting? Lack of Godzilla? Focus on the other monsters? I didn't really notice any of that whatsoever I was too emotionally wrapped up in the story. When I heard the acting was shallow I feared Star Wars Prequel type delivery but never once did I roll my eyes with any of the performances. Plus this is one of the most gorgeous looking summer blockbusters that I've ever seen. Every scene was breathtakingly beautiful. In the end Gareth Edwards has a great career ahead of him after this marvelous film 5 out of 5, A+ all around. Godzilla delivers & then some.
