Official Plot Synopsis
In search for a new home planet, the Zigrans find Earth and kidnap Kenichi, his friend Helen and their scientist fathers as prisoners. The invaders demand world wide surrender, otherwise they will execute the captive humans. Gamera rescues the prisoners, but that doesn't stop the Zigrans from their mission. After incapacitating Gamera in an underwater showdown, the Zigran overlord once again tells the people of Earth to give up. However, the children and their fathers leave on a mission to revive Gamera and put a stop to Zigra's invasion.
Directed by Noriaki Yuasa, Gamera vs. Zigra is a Daiei Studios movie based on a screenplay by Nisan Takahashi.
