Lets Discuss: Villain In Star Wars Ep. 7?

I would like to discuss potential villains on the new SW movies.  If you know much about the extended universe of SW then you know there are a plethora of villains to choose from.  Also, there is always the possibility of a completely new villain to be created for the movie.

I have always liked the idea of the new villain being an outlaw or gang such as the Hutts.  Although remnants of the Empire/Sith is always a good prospect too!

Lets Discuss!  Who will be next?

The Yuuzhan Vong would be my preference. Darth Krayt would be my second choice.

Krayt would definitely be cool.  He has that scare factor for sure.

Yes, and so do the Yuuzhan Vong.

Yuuzhan Vong...

Darth Krayt...

Same. THat's one thing  I think they goofed up with in Episodes 2 and 3. Count Dooku wasn't that intimidating. He was an amazing fencer, strategist, and was really wise, but not scary. You can have all the needed qualities for a good villain, but if you're not that scary, you're not gonna be recieved all that well(my opinion of course).

I agree.  I wish they had made General Grievous a bigger character.  He easily could have been more of the Darth Vader role and Dooku and the Emperor could have been more of the "executive" bad guys if you will.

I agree. But I can't complain too much about those episodes because we saw the introduction of my favorite characters, the clones ;)

Haha there is always a silver lining!  I'm really excited to see the new stories of the EU that come from the new movie.

I don't think they'll go the Krayt route. Krayt comes way later than 30 years after episode 6. They'll probably go the Jacen Solo/Darth Caedus route.

Darth Caedus would be cool.  Krayt could be for the future though.
