I have no clue. At first, I was going to watch a Godzilla movie ( forgot which) I was upset because I thought godzilla was weird. After that movie, I was like," ok.. he isn't that bad." After 2 months of that movie, I suddenly became addicted to his movies and topic. I don't know what happened, but it just did.
hmmm... I go with @SasquaDash idea. The concept seems more likely to be an early version of Astrogodzilla.
@Pindé I see where your going, and I agree with you.. but @sonictiger made a point.
I don't know if they confirmed it, but I believe so..
I believe that this quote could be an introduction to Ghidorah's own movie or a prequel to an existing movie.
I feel Godzilla 2014 had some good human agency thing going on that the other MonsterVerse movies lack.
As for an amount of future films, I noticed that Warner Brothers has been avoiding monsterverse announcements, while announcing about other projects. Like it announced Dune: Part Two, and a definite Monsterverse project hasn’t been announced for months now, either they have a big project or don’t have an idea yet.
I agree with you, one kaiju story I find gets around this problem is the Kaiju Nemesis from the Nemesis Saga
You guys needs to show more respect to the abilities of the Predator fighting against all these weaklings..with the first you where in suspense and a mystery and both soldiers and predator were bosses in their field so u Didn't know who going to be on top.seeing big Arnold hiding in mud now understanding the attributes of the Predator and had to use his surroundings and experiance to triumph..
the new Predator you are like and am sure Predator wouldn't have a problem with them .then you see it you like qth is this. lol no way she(Indian girl) ,Roddie , The black guy suppose to beat that Pred. bullshit..walk out cinema like the duck was that.it was a clear win for pred. and the humans were very weak.
@HinikunaGoji: A month or two ago, Max Borenstein said that the creative team is throwing around ideas for multiple films going forward. Maybe “Son of Kong” was one of those ideas.
But that doesn’t mean all of those ideas are going to see the light of day. It’s too early to know what the future holds. For all we know, we may only get one or two more films and that’s it.

I thought this should be brought up again.
Noodle Ghidorah makes a return as Tinsel Ghidorah
Yeah, Kong: Hollow Earth makes more sense.
I agree. It also could have been the working idea because it was a pitch thrown out there.
This is how I’ve come to evision the project’s creation is that a king sequel was greenlit before an idea was solidly made. Son of Kong was just an idea thrown into ideas and became the working title.
@HinkunaGoji: You make a good point. That’s why I said that Kong adopting a son is uncertain. Maybe the next film will be about Kong discovering a different species of Kongs in the Hollow Earth, but it won’t be about him adopting or having a son. If the creative team is planning another solo Kong film with this premise, then maybe they named this project “Son of Kong” to make easier to identify, and the title carries no meaning for the plot at all.
Yes, but that’s just a working title.
this is assuming it makes it past preproduction and previs
No Son of Kong, but still Kong: Hollow Earth
i mean, i don't really mind them
@SasquaDash: I agree! Do you think it’s meant to set up the arrival of Keizer Ghidorah for a future film? It came from the same book that included a moment where Dr. Serizawa remembers his son Ren, who later shows up in GVK.
What are your thoughts on the "cutaways"
It could mean that there are other members of the Ghidorah species and that King Ghidorah left his home planet in order to rule over another.

So what you want is a blank slate character where you can come up with your own backstory... I don't understand this thought process because it hinders character development of the character for the sake of mystery.
I hope it is good
I think the xenomorph should have been held off until Prometheus 3 and that the Engineers should have made the xenomorphs. Not sure if I would out right replace the xenomorph since that would be like replacing Godzilla with a different kaiju
I don't really see the point of use using that as a reference. Maybe they'll do so just to gain interest from people but to just have a cameo for a cameo's sake seems unnecessary to me. Come up with new things, that shouldn't bee too hard.
As long as they don't try to explain everything about him, it's cool. What made Boba Fett interesting to me in the first place was that he was quiet, and we didn't know that much about him by watching Star Wars 5 and 6, but then they added some in the prequels. Don't tell us everything about the character because some of good story-telling is trying to make us use our imagination like the fantasy genre does.
Xenotaris: Ya that's what I've heard too. My problem is how he dealt with that, by making the angry android its creator. Covenant could have done without the monster and just have the Neomorph and maybe other monsters too, but Fox messed up. He seems too stuck on the android tale, so that's why I'm worried if he would have a heavy influence in the next Alien-project.
