Oh Simon Masrani, yeah he died in Jurassic World just like that. Because after the Pteranodons attacked his helicopter, he lost control of his helicopter and it crashed into a fiery inferno near the Indominus rex.

And G. H. (Gman), I would definitely agree about it being an anniversary project. Considering how Godzilla (2014) was given a first-look trailer in 2012, I wouldn't be the slightest surprised to see this get its teaser soon.
Kind of reminds of much Netflix was being dead silent about Stranger Things 4, a sharp contrast to the other seasons and how they were promoted. And wouldn't you know it, people are calling this season the best. So, maybe this "Godzilla: Zero" will be the same.

Some insiders say otherwise, with multiple people calling the project Godzilla: Zero.
Not to mention it doesn't make a lot of sense to advertise a call for extras on the Godzilla app if it wasn't related in some way. And the fact Toho still hasn't announced what it is while it's in post-production points to a high profile secret.
Google said that Pteranodons attacked the helicopter and Masrani was trying to control the helicopter but failed and he died in the explosion. I don't know if that is true.

I guess Masrani Global went belly up after Fallen Kingdom, they didn't really elaborate InGen and Masrani's fate in detailed in Dominion, other than saying BioSyn bought out their competitors (I think, i need rewatch the movie)

That's true however, I felt Dominion kind of ass pulled a redemption arc for Wu since after Fallen Kingdom, his actor said he wanted his character to have a karmic death like he did in the book.

Well toho just finished Shin Ultraman, and next years Shin Kamen Rider is coming out.
So i think its safe to saywe might not get a toho movie for a while. Maybe SP will continue or there will be a different animated project.
Not evil, just misguided. He wants to make scientific breakthroughs that could change the world, however, his accomplishments fueled his ego to the point where he wasn't able to see the faults in his creations. His creations weren't the result of him alone though, his bosses played a role in creating them as well. While Hammond and Masrani had good intentions, his later bosses didn't and they forced him to go down the wrong path. Wu wasn't evil, Mills and Dodgson were. If Wu was truly evil, he wouldn't have tried to fix his mistakes.

“None of this makes any sense, it doesn't matter.” Adam Wingard's quote is making me question my opinions on the MonsterVerse. But hey G. H. (Gman), I wouldn't expect much from the guy whose Kaiju showdown was the only well-reviewed movie of his entire directing career. I'm not joking either.
Honestly, Madison was the last human character that I was truly interested in and now she's gone, also Godzilla being under-utilized is looking likely and Kong's MV journey being extended longer than it needs to worries me. And if these movies get increasingly dumber and more rehashy I think I'll jump ship after GVK 2 and the Apple TV Plus series and focus on watching Toho's full library of Godzilla films.

Although, I know most people hated it but I kind of liked Alien vs Predator Requiem but only the Predator's storyline didn't care much for the humans in that story
I have been reflecting and I am sorry G. H. (Gman) for getting in fights with you regarding everything godzilla related. I think I am slowly loosing interest in the monsterverse, I mean starting with King of the Monsters, it feels like they are rehashing old movie plots.

I really love Predator and Predator 2, Predators was cool with its concepts but some of the plot was eh, and yes The Predator sucked. I couldn't agree with you more on AVP.
It would be awesome if mega kaiju from pacific rim was in the movie

G. H. (Gman), Kurt Russell is sure to be good in this MONARCH show. As long Godzilla shows up for more than 5 minutes, I'm all here for it.
monsterzero9, not bringing back Madison and instead bringing back Bernie also is Legendary learning the wrong lesson from the Team Godzilla subplot. They seemed to think that Twitter tore that apart because of who was commanding that side of the story, because they all called it the "bad Millie Bobby Brown subplot." It was the awful comedy bits like the thing you said: "The shop scene with the reference to prank channels on YouTube in GVK." They need to get better writers and write better material for these actors who pour their work into stuff like this.
Honestly, after GvK, I don't think I could lower my expectations any further than they already have been and don't really care if the movie gets released or not.
I'll admit to having a modicum more interest in the series, but only because Kurt Russell is in it.
I mean, I generally like the Predator films. The original is an all time favorite, I think Predator 2 is profoundly underrated as is the third one. I can take or leave the AvP flicks. And the fourth movie was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Prey is definitely in the running for one of, if not the best, of the franchise.
