MonsterVerse is obviously better for me.
The MonsterVerse by just a strand of hair. The millennium are pretty good too.
So basically it takes place after the Showa era, and my Godzilla would technically be Godzilla 3. But the timeline is not the plot, it is preliminary events.
As much as I love the Millennium series (Godzilla 2000 and GMK are in my top 10 list), my main problem with it was the fact that it constantly reset the timeline and didn't have a continuity. Because of this, the movies weren't able to do any significant world building.
The MonsterVerse has a stronger continuity and is able to expand on certain ideas, having a full timeline and more world building. Because of this the films feel more connected and part of something bigger.
So while I love both, I would personally rank the MonsterVerse slightly higher than the Millennium series.
This isn’t a song, but it is related to this project. It’s a timeline of events that happens before the story, still working on the songs though.

2024 - U.S again pushes for mandate for Kaiju Extermination and blames casualties of the *New York Incident on Godzilla and not the bomb.

2030 - A stray Kumacaras makes landfall Keramashoto National Park, Japan, and Japan declares it a Protected species.
Well, Monsterverse is one connected story, while the millennium is a series of Stand alone films, (with one exception). But as for your preference, that’s for the individual to decide. I haven’t finished the millennium yet, so I don’t have any input.
this is awnsomness at its finest.
all i know about resident evil in current years is tall vampire lady :0
Yeah, he announced it on scified in 2013. I knew it existed but didn’t know he was a member
oooo spicy
i'll see what i can do to help!
Yeah Die-Hard can like Zilla i'm just making an observation xd
also yeah sooooo...would it...? well, at least people like to make crossovers.
(seriously, a lot of people like to cross them over, to which i say: to each their own)
The dinosaurs in the JP franchise, are also not real dinosaurs. They are genetically created organisms that resemble what the public think are dinosaurs.
The way English has come to understand the word Kaiju, means Giant monster from Japanese entertainment.
As for story similarities, I do not see those, but every single story resembles each other in some way.
I'm not sure that classifies them as "Kaiju" movies. The monsters in Kaiju are (most of the time) fictional creatures/species whilst the Dinosaurs from the Jurassic Park franchise are well... Dinosaurs. I mean I guess the Indominous Rex and Indoraptor are biologically altered creatures, but even that's stretching it a bit.
1.its about giant beasts terrarizing humans
2.in jworld fallen kingdom they get realeased into the rest of the world making it it more kaiju like.
3.the writing of some jpark and jworld media espiaccialy resembles the writing of some goji films.
this is really good, i love it
i just realized something. jurassic park is technically a kaiju franchise
I mean, we can always get custom figures..
Im excited for this sh monsterarts
Should Die-hard Spino Fan not like zilla?
In third place would be Monster Zero, second would be Zilla Jr. and in first place is obviously the big G.
normally i would beg for an anguirus figure but i have to admit, this is pretty cool.
THAT IS SO COOL
Mothra: Queen of the Monsters.

Man, that's one hell of a bug...
I asked for this
That's actually really cool.
i want it now.
OH BABY already have notifications turned on once the pre-orders are available and I will immediately pre-order it without any hesitation.
That Godzilla still has toothpaste in it's mouth. Can't miss it.
YES YES YES YES! I love it. Though, I had hoped for a drill accessory for the tail.
awesome sauce
Ritual use? Hard to say for sure, since we've only had a tantalising glimpse of Engineer society. We've seen three different kinds of Engineer ship: the teardrop at the start of Prometheus; the juggernaut; and the one hovering above the crowd that David bombs.
Is the massive cargo bay in a juggernaut designed specifically to carry xenomorph eggs? Or is it more general purpose? Is the juggernaut a weapon of war?
If it is a weapon of war, I don't see that the crowd would be particularly bothered by its appearance. Communist countries on Earth parade their WMDs in front of cheering crowds, for example...
Of course, we don't know how Engineers think. Perhaps those juggernauts have been around for millions of years, and they don't see any need to improve on the best.
Or maybe we've just seen the tiniest speck of their galactic civilisation so far, and they have a multitude of different ships.
We know so little for sure, there's great scope for expanding this arc of the story.
It's just such a pity that the popcorn-loving public are more interested in the slimy snapping xenomorph above everything else. If only Ridley had been allowed to carry on with his vision...
A couple of things we know about David, for sure, as he was being very candid with Walter just prior to attacking him:
1. He thinks he's already created perfection, in the form of his engineered creature.
2. He can't allow humanity to grasp for resurrection.
So it's clearly foremost in his mind that he wants to wipe out humans. A good way of achieving that would be through a xenomorph army. If I was as twisted as he, I'd
- put Daniels' body to some nefarious use, so she can't blab
- Land the colonists on Origae-6
- Let the colony grow
- Infect the colony
- Send out lies over the ether to attract other ships from Earth
- Let the visitors spread the infection throughout the galaxy
Of course, we know things don't quite work out that way, and an Engineer ship (complete with pilot) gets infected. Perhaps David gets up to his evil tricks, but an Engineer ship lands on Origae-6...
Mothra is my favorite Kaiju above all others, Godzilla is my second favorite kaiju
Mothra, Godzilla, Battrah, Zilla, Ghidorah, and Gigan
