Wow, this is crazyy! I've experienced such encounters before a couple of times and I was almost losing my mind. Once we saw a colorful blinking dot in the sky with my grandmother at her property in Alicante, and once I saw something like a fireball flying in the sky which I'm pretty sure was not a comet. I hope one day we have the opportunity of communicating with real aliens.
I would like to see a microraptor or an aquilops. I think this game needs some more small species. There is a museum near our property in Italy and they are keeping an aquilops skeleton there. I'm being amazed every time I see it.
UPDATE 07/11/2021:
Via box office commentator Luiz Fernando, weekend estimates for Godzilla vs. Kong put it at #2 with a $2.1 million--About $1 million less than expected and 51% drop from last weekend.
It's current estimated total is $10.1 million and is eyeing a $15-20 million finish depending on how solid its legs are. Actuals later.
Godzilla isn't a big green lizard (sole exception is Zilla but even then she is blue-ish grey). He is a divine atomic charcoal dinosaur/dinosauromorph/angry war spirits/tree/aquatic organism
The proposition was that the story was to take us on to our creators to find Elizabeths answers. To turn the story into a series of Babouska Dolls and devalue the Engineers (which happened in Covenant) was never the answer.
Something happened between the time of the Seeding Billions of years ago and our creators ending up on the Moon. Find the answers to that and our creation can be given context.
Thats not to deny that such a story, which contextualises the installation and the derelict will hold little interest for the core fans of the A L I E N franchise.
It looks interesting, hopefully it will be better than the Alien prequels. The picture of the gray monster looks good. You have the picture where they look into something, that looks a bit like AVP.
UPDATE 07/09/2021:
According to Bunkatsushin weekend actuals keep Godzilla vs. Kong at 5.62 million with a 392,343 attendance. The first Hollywood or western movie to open #1 in Japan in 40 weeks.
Japan has recently declared another state of emergency due to rising Covid numbers. Prior states of emergency have had negligible effect on the box office according to Japanese B.O. pundits. We'll see how well Godzilla vs. Kong holds this weekend.
I'm currently taking a break from writing my paleo rant. There's a lot I have to deal with, mainly having to do with preparing for college courses. I still plan on finishing it at some point in the future.

CHAPTER 16: THE HYBRID & THE ANCESTRAL BLADE
Date: December 3rd, 2230
Locale: Weyland Yutani Xenomorph Research Facility (Former Weyland-Yutani Corrections Facility), Fiorina “Fury” 161
Several prison cells lay open, the bodies of several animals lie motionless. All of them had a massive hole in their core region. A pack of panther-spawned xenomorphs roam the former correctional facility. The panthers resemble the Runner except they are much larger and bulkier than their mesocarnivore-spawn brethren. The panthers chance up a lone Rhino-spawned xenomorph, the Rhinoalien resembled a bulkier quadrupedal version of the human-spawned xenomorphs except they lack a tail and have six pairs of dorsal tubes rather than four that bend forward rather than back. The most distinguishing characteristic is the massive two nose horns growing out of its face. The pantheraliens run up to the lone rhinoalien, they extend their secondary jaws before retracting them. The rhinoalien extends its jaws too before retracting them. The scientists watch from a safe distance from their computer monitors in an octagonal control room.
“Species XX121 are indifferent to the changes to their fellows regardless of host-origin. We tried every animal we could think of: Rhinos, Boars, Lions, Wolves, Gorillas and even some alien animals” Dr. Samuel Kadinsky stared at the monitors. He spots the Boaraliens snuggling with a lone snakealien. Mantisalien and the scorpionalien were cocooning inmates along the former cafeteria wall. The Gorillalien was accompanying the bullaliens and crabaliens.
“Yes, the xenomorphs are fascinating creatures. Oh Dr. Kadinsky, any progress on that little pet project of yours?” Dr. Lee Caolan asked.
“You mean the K-series? Promising to say the least. How's your pet project, Caolan?” Kadinsky replied.
“The H-series project? It's doing better than your project” Caolan gloated.
With that exchange the two scientists walk out of the hexagonal room down opposite corridors. The Xenomorph Research Facility was built over what was left of the old correctional facilities. The XRF mostly towered the old decrypted prison while repurposing the main corridors for its own use. The former correctional facility was divided into four sectors. The Hub which is located directly under the XFR, the North Wing acts as a containment facility for Species XX121. The East Wing is the K-Labs, under the watchful eye of Dr. Samuel Kadinsky; who has been studying species XX121 since the Earth War. The West Wing is the X-Gen labs, its science team serving the prodigy Dr. Lee Caolan. Both the nature of either laboratories are classified.
Dr. Kadinsky slips his keycard into the main lab door, the massive door slides open. He stops at the containment tanks harboring sleeping gold-skin xenomorphs. “Dr. Caolan can laugh at me all he wants. I show him that his H-series are inferior to my K-series” he caresses the cyrotank, “Hello beautiful,” he said to his creation. Dr. Kadinsky walked into the adjacent room, he turned on the lights to reveal a chamber with a massive window. Beyond the glass was a massive golden xenomorph, it resembled a queen however it had yautja-like mandibles on the side of her jaws and long segmented dreadlocks. The Predalien queen hisses as she begins producing ovomorphs from her swollen oviraptor.
Meanwhile at the X-Gen Labs, Dr. Caolan was staring at a series of cryotanks containing his genetic variant of species XX121. These xenomorphs were brown in coloration instead of the usual dark grey gunmetal coloration of the original strain. Their mesoskeleton was fleshy rather than biomechanical, their cranium is sleeker, their chin more pronounced, and their jaws more serpentine. “My H-series is the future. With Human DNA the xenomorph can be reasoned or at the very least can form an unbreakable bond” Caolan caresses his creation’s tank. The computer monitor displays the genetic composition of the xenomorph. 80% Xenomorph, 20% Human The computer registers. Caolan walked into the adjacent room, he turned on the light. The lights flicker on revealing tanks containing a puke tan vaguely xenomorph-like creature. The creature had a skull-like face on a xenomorph’s elongated head with the back end blending into the creature’s shoulder-back region. It lacked a mesoskeleton, its exterior was fleshy like that of a human, It had a pink pot belly with human genitalia. It stared at Caolan with its beady black eyes. “What a beautiful, beautiful butterfly,” he said to the creature. 40% Xenomorph, 60% Human The computer registers.
Date: December 8th, 2230
Locale: Planet Nekket
The solar light shined through the window, the light beamed in on the open closet containing ancient samurai armor dated to the 16th century. Stylistic paintings of the great samurai Heishiro Mitsurugi hang on the wall next to his armor. Above the armor closest was a sword rack, carrying three swords. Mitsurugi’s sword favorite Shishi-oh, his old sword Korefuji, and the fable star demon sword Kai Desu-amedhasu. Next to the picture scroll painting of Mitsurugi was another painting, Mitsurugi wielding Shishi-oh against the fable star demon, a massive oni hulking of muscles with the face of a samurai crab and snakes for hair. It wore two large bracers on each forearm with a pair of claws protruding from them while wielding Kai Desu-amedhasu. Asuka Kazuma bows to her ancestor, a light incense smokes in its pedestal. She glares at the star demon painting.
Remembering the day those beasts took her mother from her. Eyes flashing yellow, shimmering like a heat wave as they carried her Mother to their ship. Horrible face flared crab-like mandibles, red deep eyes stare back at Asuka. The creature threw down a steep ravine, Asuka felt helpless as the ledge of the road quickly escaped her view as her head shifted to the evening sky. Then came the sharp pain, her abdomen and back bursts open into a shower of blood as the speargun projectile came flying through. She felt herself being propelled further into the ravine, “Was I hit by something? Is this it? I don’t want to die!” Asuka thought to herself as she crashed into the sweeping water currents. She remembers waking up in a Weyland-Yutani owned hospital.
“Rise and shine” Bishop said to her.
Asuka slowly woke up, unfamiliar ceiling, she turned her head towards Bishop. “Where am I?” images of the yautja kidnapping her mom appear in her head “Where’s mom?” she cried.
The Bishop android looked at her with his unemotional eyes. “Jun Kazama is missing. The Company is doing everything they can to bring your mother back safely. Now can you tell me about your mother’s capturer” Bishop asked.
“They were invisible then they could turn uninvisible. They wore metal masks… Oh gods they were ugly when they removed them. They wanted mom for some reason, I tried to save her but I couldn’t” Asuka started breaking down in tears.
“Hmmm the predators might be interested in her blood or rather what her blood contains”
“Wait, what does that have to do anything?” Asuka looked up at Bishop.
“Because it's now in your blood as well” Bishop replied cryptically.
“What is? What did you do to me?” Asuka starts to examine herself, she notices the scarring from the IVs dotted her arms and legs.
“We used the creature’s blood to heal your wounds. They were dire, we were fortunate the alien blood aided the healing process”
“Now I have those monster’s blood in me?” Asuka cried.
Asuka snaps out remenscining as she stands up from the ground as she quickly grabs the Kai Desu-amedhasu off the sword rack. She pulls the sheath off the sword’s blade, the red metal blade shined. She twirls the blade to get the feel of it. Asuka looked down at the sword’s handle, the bottom interestingly reminded her of a chestburster’s face.
She closes the armor closet as she kneels down in front of her late grandfather’s and her mother’s picture. “I will find you mother” she turns to her grandfather’s picture “I will avenge you, grandfather. I will kill the demons responsible” she bows before standing back up. “The demon’s blood flows through my veins… I will live twice as long as a normal human and will be stronger but what if I become a demon myself…” she thinks to herself before shaking her head, “No, I shouldn’t think of things like that”
Locale: the yautja ship, Hoshoku.
A tall pale white female yautja slouches in her pilot chair. Upon her trophy wall, the many skulls of her exploits are shown. The massive skull of a xenomorph queen, several skulls of xenomorph warriors, a couple of human skulls, and a death angel’s skull. Youma slowly rises from her seat as she walks over to admire her skull collection. She picks up one particular human skull, she caresses the cracked skull. She places the skull on a holoprojector pedestal, the device creates a holographic image of the skull’s owner. A middle aged asian man appears, he bore the Weyland-Yutani company logo on his shoulders. It was Ryo Kazuma, Asuka’s grandfather. Youma reminicents her battle with this ooman.
It was a hot night, when she broke into the ooman’s adobe. She went in cloaked, she knew this wasn’t an ordinary hunt. Her target was a thief and an abomination, an ooman that drinks the blood of a yautja can extend their own lifespan. She’s been hunting his family like a fox since the mid-20th century, she watched them grow from a yakuza boss family to technology brokers to corporate investors. She extended her wrist blades as she approached the sleeping ooman’s room but the cries of a baby distracted the huntress. The bedroom door opens, a young woman stepped out of it walking towards the baby's room. Youma ignored the woman, she wasn’t her target. Youma quietly approached the open bedroom door, there she saw her target. Ryo Kazuma, she aims her tri-dot laser sights on his head. Ryo woke up and threw himself out of bed as the predator fired her plasma caster at his last location. The bed explodes into flames and twisted metal.
Ryo quickly dashed for his ancestor’s swords, he grabbed the Kai Desu-amedhasu off the sword rack. He unsheathed the sword, its red metallic hue caught the yautja’s eye. Her biomask scans the sword as it quickly locates the item from within her database, it was the kainde amedha slayer. Her honorable late grandfather’s sword. Youma roared furiously as it echoed through the ooman’s home.
Ryo's eyes finally adjusted to the dark, he noticed the alien trying to kill him was different from the others. This one has a slenderer build, an hour glass frame and a pair of pronounced breasts, “You must be the female of the species that hunts me” he shoots a glance at his blood red blade, “Judging by your reaction this sword means alot to you” he swings it around to get a good feel for it. “Let’s see what you're made of?” He lunges at the yautja with sword in hand.
Youma blocks his attack with her wrist blades. Sayori with her child watches in horror from outside of the bedroom. The baby's cries distract Youma, Ryo impales the female yautja in the hip. Youma falls to her knees when Ryo pulls her ancestor’s sword out of her. She looks up to see him sheath the blade as he tosses the sword on the floor to his mate.
“Take it and get out of here!” Ryo shouts to his wife, she picks up the sword with baby in hand before bolting for the front door.
Youma continues to glare at Ryo as he grabs another of his ancestor’s swords, “Muichimonji, when was the last time you tasted alien blood?” He smirked. Youma slowly reached into her waist’s pack on her belt, she pulled off a medikit syringe. She quickly stabs her wound with it, the medicine forces the wound closed. She howls in pain before discarding the syringe. Ryo swung the sword down on top of the yautja female’s head. She quickly thrusted her head up so the blade would cut into her biomask. Youma then pushed her weight forward sending the frail ooman back. Ryo collides with the armor closest before falling on his hands and knees.
Youma grabbed the ooman by the throat as she lifted him up to eye level. With her free hand she removes her mask, Ryo wasn’t surprised by her face. Four jointed tusk-like mandibles stick out from her feminine face. “You think showing me your face is going to impress me, demon? I have seen your kind’s ugly mug plenty of times, you don’t scare me” he then grins, “Matter of fact, I pity your kind. Your life giving blood is wasted on the likes of you, it should be mine!” he struggles to reach for another sword off the sword rack.
Youma drops her mask on the floor, her brow furls as she clocks her mandibles. “Big talk… coming from a trophy!” She spoke in japanese. Ryo’s eyes widened, “How did you…” his words were cut short when Youma slams her forehead against Ryo’s. Blood trickled down his forehead, his skull was cracked. Youma pulled her head away, and the ooman’s body went limp. Youma drops the ooman on the floor before retrieving her biomask. Despite his injuries Ryo grabbed his sword off the ground and charged into Youma. The huntress gave him a swift backhanding.
She nearly forgot, he was no ordinary ooman. The yautja blood is keeping him alive for the time being but even then it will not save him from her. Ryo charges with the Muichimonji, Youma pulls out her glaive and cuts through the ancient japanese sword like a hot knife through butter. Muichimonji's tip stabs the floor. Youma with a second stroke of her glaive, disembowels Ryo. The man stumbles back as its intestines spew on to the floor, Ryo just smiles defiantly at the yautja. Youma grabs him by the head and throws him to the floor, he makes an audible thud as Youma stared at his back.
She shoves her clawed hands into his back, she feels around until she grabs something hard. She tugs on his spine before pulling and snapping it from the adjacent bones until it and Ryo’s skull is finally free. Youma bellows as she revels in victory.

Absolutely ;) before we had Alien Covenant, way back in 2013 i was looking at Paradise in Context of the BIBLE and to then look at it NOT being Heaven. But the PLACE where Creation had came from (GARDEN OF EDEN).
A Walled City that is Over-watched by the Cherubim Angels, the Place that was the Cradle of Civilization (First Ancestors) and when i look at Planet 4 and that SINGLE CITY then i think that FITS with the Paradise that contained the Garden of Eden. Also Paradise is where ONLY the Worthy can go, and so maybe those Humanoids on Planet 4 are deemed Worthy, and Pure and as RS said they are NOT a Race but a Civilization then maybe the Engineers would Visit the Worlds they Seed and take some Humans (or Children) to Paradise where they are Incorporated both Ritually/Culture wise but Genetically.
Maybe in Context to the Franchise then Christ was ONE of these Children who then was Sent Down to TRY and Correct our Ways? The Engineers maybe had SENT other Emissaries to other Places who had Behaved and Pleased their Creators and had NOT gone to Crucify their Emissary (this could Explain the Latter Star Maps after the Death of Christ).

This was ALWAYS a Sticking Point with a Sequel, you had just the ONE Human Character which annoyed some Fans, you had the Synthetic David who was the Strongest Character and its HOW can you have a Movie about THEM and THEN they Meet their Makers who HATE US?
If the Engineers have Seeded many Worlds and they see the Humanoid DNA as what they are aiming for. It seems UNLIKELY they would ONLY have Created Us on Earth... even so you would Expect them to come over time and TAKE some Humans to Paradise or to other Worlds to Colonize them.
Its LIKELY that NOT all of the Worlds the Engineers had Invested in Creation had UPSET them like we had on Earth (some Parts/Cultures) and so THIS is a Avenue to had Introduced other Humans.
They NEVER had to go to Paradise, we could have had David detect a closer Engineer World and go there and see Humans that are Living in Harmony with a Smaller Number of Engineers watching over them.
The Discovery of Worlds with Humans would give a Good Arc to the Character of Dr Shaw and HOW she would respond. It would raise a Interesting Dynamic for those Humans and Engineers seeing a Returning Engineer Ship but out STEPS not the Engineers but Humans. Imagine the Reaction to the other Humans and especially if they are TAUGHT that they are Unique in the Galaxy and Alone.
Imagine the Intrigue of the Engineers but Concerns on HOW the arrival of Dr Shaw would effect the Human Civilization on this WORLD the Engineers would have some Explaining to do.
Does David become Jealous at HOW these Humans and Engineers interact and Welcome Dr Shaw and she has more Interest in them and so DAVID then FEELS he is a Outcast!
Do the Engineers then Realize who David is and are Concerned and Intend to Dispose of HIM how would David React? Would he MAKE UP something to get Dr Shaw on his Side?
Would those Engineers be Concerned that other Humans are able to Travel the Stars and USE their Ships? So what if they Determine they NEED to Contact the Hierarchy on other Worlds to then DISPOSE of Humanity on Earth!
David could Convince Dr Shaw or maybe she could come to David for HELP in having to STOP these Engineers. He has a Cargo of HELL on the Ship and WHAT if those Engineers only think the Ship has Engineer/Humanoid DNA and are NOT aware of the HORRORS?
But they soon SHALL!
So YES a bit more Thought and we NEVER had to go for a Alien Covenant, you could have had Horrors that are related to the Xenomorph Unleashed. And a 3rd Movie you could have Engineers Arrive who we then could get more Information about the Connection to the Xenomorph from.

It Certainly was ;) which is WHY i think the Juggernaught made more sense as a Seeding Ship, a more Efficient Method
Pebble Ship:
*Drop off a Engineer who is to Donate his DNA to Create Life by a Sacrifice.
(Potential of Engineer changing his Mind, and have to Actually go and LAND on the Surface).
Juggernaught Ship:
*Maybe more than ONE of the Engineers are Sacrificed on the Ship or on some Place (LV-223) and their DNA is Collected in the Urns to be Dropped on a World.
(Chosen Engineers have NO WAY to back out, the SHIP does not have to Land and can EVOLVE/SEED from the HEAVENS, More DNA Diversity).
When looking at the Engineers being mainly about Creation and looking at how Spaights Scarabs and Goo work, we can ASSUME that Engineer DNA Carrying Goo would essentially act as a FACTORY RESET if it was Bombarded down on a World.
If we consider that, then the Plaza in Alien Covenant, the Statues (Especially the ONES that Surround the Hanger that are Holding what looks like the Sacrificial Cups) then it makes more SENSE.... and would Explain as to WHY those Engineers were NOT afraid and Welcoming of the Ship, IF say to be Chosen as a Sacrifice is a Great Honor, or maybe those Engineers are-not FULLY aware of what becomes of them UNTIL they are TAKEN AWAY.
To me this makes SENSE, but that does-not mean this is WHAT is actually going on as the Writers etc and Ridley Scott may NOT be giving much thought to WHAT makes Sense.
IF what makes Sense to me is something to look at, THEN it makes the LV-223 Experiments and Intent to USE it on Earth as some Engineers deciding to PERVERT the USE of the Creation Tool and to CORRUPT/PERVERT the Creation Process which would FIT more with the FALLEN Aspect.
So those Guys on LV-223 had taken the SACRED GIFT of Creation, and decided to USE the DNA of something Horrific rather than to Create in their Own Image. Their Creations would be Unholy, would Create Twisted Serpents of the Engineers.
Where as PURELY as a Weapon/Reset Switch then the Sacrificial Goo would (ASSUME) infect and Break Down all LIFE and then Create Building Blocks for NEW Life that has the Same DNA. This is MORE CLEAR with Spaights Drafts of the Sacrificial Scene.
When we get to the OUTPOST and encounter the Scarabs again it was via them being STORED in a URN where the Outcome on a Human (Fifield) was to MUTATE him into something that had Xenomorph DNA/Traits and so i Speculate that those Scarabs in those URNS had OBTAINED the DNA from being USED on some Organism that Predates the Xenomorph.
So IF the Engineers had decided they wanted to Eradicate us with this Xeno-DNA strain of Black Goo, this would Create Life that is TOTALLY against what the Engineers had done AEONS ago.
Therefor maybe....
*They became Obsessed and Impressed with a Organism that Predates the Xenomorph/Deacon and tried to Create a NEW Creation and saw its DNA as being more Perfect than the Engineers and saw THIS as the NEXT STEP in Evolution.
*They had become so BITTER and HATEFUL that to Merely Smite us was NOT enough and they wanted to INFLICT more Horror and Suffering and saw these Horrors on LV-223 as a more Severe Punishment.
If those Engineers on LV-223 are Sub-created to Serve, then maybe they could have STARTED to behave and show Contempt for their Creators and their New Favored Creations (Mankind) then maybe they could have the same THINKING as what had Drawn David to Pervert Creation with a Horror to UNLEASH and Destroy all Humanoids?
Alternatively we could be LEFT with some Engineers thinking that they Reached the Peak of Evolution with the Genome of the Engineers and they looked to Introduce another Organisms DNA into the MIX to Evolve themselves to something ELSE and they saw or maybe they wanted to TEST this on Earth.
The Problem with these Explanations is that RS had indicated that the Reasons we was to be Destroyed was because of HOW we had been Behaving Against the WILL/WAYS of the Engineers. In which case i then DROPPING down Sacrificial Goo would make more Sense to RESET the World.
So those Engineers must have become VERY BITTER to the Point that to KILL US and RESTART the Creation Process from Scratch was NOT enough, and they wanted us to SUFFER. And so IF this made them to be like Fallen Angels then this maybe Implies that trying to PERVERT/CHANGE the Creation Process by introducing the UNHOLY HORROR that Predated the Xenomorph could be seen as a FALLEN ACT (something that was NEVER intended in their Culture/Religion but something that became a New Perverted Ritual).
Your point about the sacrificial scene is a good one.
One of the modules inside the documentary (FG) indicates that the original intention was that the craft hanging over the cliff was a Juggernaut. If it had been then the idea that it was an Earth seeding by the dark angels has legs.
However Ridley wanted to place the scene billions of years ago and introduced the beautiful pebble ship too separate the Eight from the Moon E's. To be honest I only discovered that after I had written the second draft and probably about the 2nd edition of my work so 2019. But I got lucky because it underwrites my take on it.
Ridley in the documentary is much closer to my vision of how to interpret the story.
1) "So if they made us who made them, God made them."
2) The cup is described as the Genesis Cup.
3) The instillation is described as anthrax island.
Now when you get much further down the line and start listening to the editors commentary Pietro Scalia, without being disrespectful, he clearly did not understand the vision and his remarks about why they left Paradise out of the final cut are way off. He said it was confusing and was not thought through and might refer to Earth. Thats nonsense if you listen to Davids cut dialogue the Engineers Home Planet is an echo of all of our belief systems and (Here I am talking about my work) our belief systems are all fragments of the truth because our beginnings obscured the truth. The one personality who pierced those deceits and saw the truth was the guy from Nazareth. Elizabeth following in those foot steps is by contrast entirely on the wrong track.
The idea of taking Elizabeth where she wants to go and find its all wrong has great story telling potential the only problem there are not 13 people with her who all get killed by the creature. As you often said you cannot make a movie for the franchise where their are two leads and a huge amount of ambiguity when you arrive there.
I think part of how Damon intended to deal with that is by the two of them experiencing the Tibetan Bardo which he used in Lost. Once again I am pleased to say I had that in mind from the very beginning and it enables you to pick up some of the narrative threads and characters from the first part.
CHAPTER 15: THE BAD BLOOD
Date: December 1st, 2230
Locale: Cerberus Station, Planet Julianos.
Sarachande slowly awakes to people screaming before they are suddenly silenced. The young blood yautja slowly awakens to find himself strapped to a stretcher. He briefly looks down to see a stitched incision on his chest. He hears the hisses of the kainde amedha from the hallways, causing him to look up at the glass wall. Their silhouette of their iconic forms casted a shadow upon the wall. Banana-shaped head with tusked protrusions flaring out from its jaws, a series of four dorsal tubes and a single large dorsal spike on its bipedal form with a long tail. The xenomorph was tugged back as angry yautja voices filled the air. Silhouettes of Yautja materialized on the walls as they yank the spiked chains on their xenomorph hounds.
Sarachande’s door slides open, the tusked xenomorphs crawl into view. Around their neck was a metal collar, attached to the collar was a spiked chain leading back to their master’s clutches. Four yautja came into view of the door as they tapped on the controls of their wrist computers, an electric shock was applied through the tusked xenomorphs’ collars to shock them into obedience. Each yautja had a unique biomask, one carried a mask reminiscent of the Hawk, another reminiscent of a Boar, the handler wore a mask resembling a xenomorph’s face, and their leader wore a mask made from the remains of a xenomorph queen’s crown.
“Elder Zerri’atchi” Sarachande bowed his head.
Zerri’atchi pulled out his ceremonial knife, he slashes away at the straps restraining Sarachande. “Sarachande, my son’s most intelligent pupil” he shakes Sarachande's shoulder.
“I’ve heard you have joined one of the bad blood clans” Sarachande thoughtlessly mentioned before bowing on his hands and knees to the elder. “Forgive me, elder”
“Hehehe, indeed” Zerri’atchi chuckles, “Do you wish to join the Black Death Clan, Sarachande? Learn to control the kainde amedha? Control the abomination that once was feeding from your blood?” he offered.
“Yes, elder. The kainde amedha, I always wished to harness the power of those beasts. See you here, brings me great joy, elder. I wish to join your clan, great elder!” Sarachande bows his head lower.
“Rise, clanbrother. Your task is to tame the abomination the oomans have cutted out of your chest’ Zerri’atchi ordered.
“Yes, great one,” Sarachande acknowledged.
“Good,” He taps at his wrist computer, “Clan leader, K’cha-tak. We have found your son, how shall we proceed?”
“Good, make sure the young blood gets his kainde amedha abomination. We depart to the planet that the oomans call Nekket” K’cha-tak answered back.
Date: December 2nd, 2230
Locale: Planet Nekket, Weyland-Yutani Xenoarchaeological studies facility
Biomasks of varying degrees of design and conditions, dott the room. Excavated spears, blades, plasma castors, and other devices lay broken and corroded on a large table. Chief xenoarchaeologist Jun Kazama picks up an ancient wrist computer. She brings it over to her workstation to clean it with alcohol, washcloth and a flathead screwdriver. After some thorough cleaning, Jun began rewiring the computer’s internals. It surprises her how similar they are to human technology. The wrist computer flashes several symbols, Jun had studied the yautja cladograms for her entire adult life.
Her phone begins ringing, she sees the face of her daughter Asuka on the vid-phone. “Hello Asuka,” Jun answered.
“Mom, when are you coming home?” Asuka asked.
“I’m… working late tonight” Jun replied
“Really? Was it an important find?” Asuka asked curiously.
“Yes,” Jun turned around in her seat, she glanced over the many tables covered in yautja excavated artifacts. “I’ll call you back later”
Nekket’s moon hangs in the sky, the moonlight is interrupted by a wavy shimmer. A red tridot beam scouts the massive rectangular building resting on a cliff slide, it seeps through the window. The Yautja targets Jun Kazama, the xenoarcheologist spots the three red dots on her arm.
Instinctually she looks up, a flash lights the darkness of a humanoid standing atop of a hill. Then the background fades to darkness as a flying blue ball of light barrels closer to the facility. The plasma fire explodes the glass sending the xenoarchaeologist flying across the room. The yautja raises his fist in the air declaring his victory.
The following morning Jun woke up covered in rubble and broken weapons. A yautja ceremonial knife sticks out of her leg. A shimmer stands above her, it deploys its wrists blades. The yautja scans the woman, with its multi viewer modes. It registers a fair amount of yautja blood in her system. It retracts its wrists blades. It reaches over to its wrist computer to uncloak himself, his mask was made from an Engineer’s flight mask. The other members of his clan began to uncloak each one sporting a different biomask all bearing scratched out marks of their clan’s symbols.
Jun feels being picked up as she is placed on a stretcher, the engineer masked Yautja places a rebreather over Jun’s mouth. The bird-like mask yautja growls as his mechanical falcon spots an intruder. A young woman riding a bike, dressed in Namco University Uniform. Asuka was listening to her tunes as she went to visit her mother’s place of work.
The falconer turns to his leader, a massive yautja with blood red skin and a pair of curved horns forged onto his standard yautja biomask. “Clan Leader, K’cha-tak. An oomen approaches us” the Falconer reports.
“Let it come,” K’cha-tak turns to his scientist, the engineer masked yautja, “Sarachande, what did you find on this female?”
“The female oomen has yautja blood in her system,” Sarachande explained, “After raiding the databases on that oomen station, I discovered a group of oomans that drank the blood of yautja. Our blood can extend their lifespan three times over, we can learn more from further studying of this female”
“Interesting, but steady your scalpels. I want this ooman alive, my son. I know you thirst for ooman blood, breaking you out of that ooman starstation wasn’t easy. Patience my boy,” he shakes his son’s shoulder.
Asuka arrives at the facility on her bike, she spots the glass on the main facility building’s window shattered. She then rode her bike to the parking lot resting along the ravine’s edge, where she saw her mother tied down on a bed grasped by several metal claws. “Mom!” Asuka shouts, unaware of the cloaked alien hunters. She slows down her bike before throwing it down on the pavement as she runs up to her mother.
Sarachande was still in hemovision, when he scans the girl had no Yautja blood in her system. Asuka notices a breathing mask over her mother’s face, she tries to pull it off but she is grabbed by an invisible hand. She is thrown in the air but Asuka being well trained in the martial arts, allowed her to land safely on the ground. She assumes an attack position, her soft oval dark eyes dart around to see what grabbed her. “Who...what?” Her eyes widened when the alien hunters began materializing in front of her.
Asuka clenched her teeth as she raised her fists, “You...ASSHOLES!” she throws a punch into the tall one. She repeatedly punches the yautja in the abs, she then swings and kicks him in the legs and arms before attempting to kick him in the groin area. K’cha-tak stumbles backwards after getting kicked in the privates. The bad blood clan leader began to laugh.
“I like this little female ooman, she has the warrior’s spirit, don't you think sarachande?” K’cha-tak glanced at his son. Asuka attempts to strike at K’cha-tak biomask, “Kekekek, This ooman is fearless, but this charade must end” he back hands Asuka across the face, sending her twirling backwards before kneeing her in the stomach. She falls to the pavement. He grabs her by the back of the head, he lifts her up. Asuka screams as the alien hunter applied pressure to her skull. She tries to kick the alien hunter but he doesn’t budge, K’cha-tak removes his biomask. He clicks his bare mandibles, his red deep eyes studying her face expressions.
“Anata wa ichi no minikui, mazafakkadesu!” Asuka's eyes widened in fear as she cursed in japanese.
He flares his mandibles letting out a guttural roar before tossing the girl down the steep ravine. “Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!” Asuka screams as she plummets to her demise, K’cha-tak opens his hand as Sarachande hands him a speargun. He aims the speargun at her chest but the wind moves the speartip to pierce through her abdomen instead. The spear tip exits her body cleanly as it sticks to the cliff wall as the young woman continues to fall into the ravine.
Asuka’s body was overwhelmed by the pain as her body plummeted into the flowing creek below. The bad blood yautja scan the ravines for any signs of their escaped prey. K’cha-tak begins laughing as he signals his fellow hunters back to the ship; They load Jun Kazama into their ship. The ship’s engines roared to life as they set the surrounding forest on fire. The yautja clanship soars into the air, K’cha-tak taps at his command console, the clanship fires a red bolt of plasma at the research facility. It explodes into balls of fire.
Asuka’s body washes ashore on the banks of the Iron lake. Her hand twitches to life. “Sir, she is alive!” shouted a paramedic. She barely had enough strength to open her eyes, “Hey miss, don’t fall back asleep, Miss? MISS!” The paramedic attempts to keep her awake but Asuka slowly falls back into unconsciousness.
Locale: Planet Nekket, Weyland-Yutani Biotechnologies Medical Facilities
Asuka was taken to the medical wing where she was stripped of her belongings and cleaned before being transferred to the transfusion pod. Two scientists looked down on the injured girl, “Is this really necessary?” asked one of the scientists.
“It’s the higher up’s call. The late Dr. Kazama and his brother have been studying the effects of yautja on human biology for years. They gave an order to proceed with phase II”
“But this is Late Ryo Kazama’s granddaughter, not an inmate from Fury 161!”
“No double-y chromosome inmate has the optimal parameters for this experiment. Only a handful of subjects have shown greater compatibility with yautja blood and three of them are part of the Kazama clan”
“What's the point of this experiment? If it succeeds, she won’t be able to live a normal life”
“Publicly, she is already dead. Died in the fires of the xenoarchaeology labs. Whether the experiment fails or succeeds is irrelevant, it's research data all the same to our superiors.”

“Chairwoman Priscilla Vickers is a cruel bitch”
The medical synths place the naked Asuka Kazama inside the pod carefully, additional medical synths carefully insert various IV-like syringes hooked with tubes into the young woman’s flesh. The yautja blood is pumped into veins and arteries. The blood’s healing properties began repairing the damage in conjunction with the surgery on Asuka’s abdomen. The medical synths worked around the clock to ensure the kazama girl would survive the surgery. The old bishop models nods to the corporate higher ups that the surgery was successful.
“Surgery on Asuka Kazama is a success. The Predator species’ blood is working like the late Ryo Kazama from the reports” Bishop reported.
“Good, we will conduct more tests on her when she is feeling better” Kazuya then smiled, “Phase 1 complete. We begin Phase 2, in a month. Anna write that one down”

Personally, I'm waiting for all the Godzilla Singular Point episodes to come out on Netflix. After watching all the episodes, you can judge the origin: is Godzilla one of a kind? Or is the Ultima version a recurring spawn that leads to the catastrophe of the universe? Too many "maybe".And not enough employee monitoring
Summer of 1988. I was seven years old, and already a huge King Kong fan. I saw that King Kong Vs. Godzilla was showing on TBS one afternoon, and I started watching it halfway through. I was watching it for Kong, but by the end of the movie, I was hooked on Godzilla. All throughout 2nd and 3rd Grade, I absolutely devoured every Godzilla VHS I could get my hands on. I don't know what it was I loved so much about Godzilla, but it's a fascination that's never left me.
I will add that the White Spike would have made a NICE Alternative to the Xenomorph had they NOT got HR Giger On-board as it has some Elements of the other Prior Concepts.... but i am GLAD they got HR Giger involved as he Designed such a UNIQUE Monster.

But doing a Comparison i dont think the Neomorph would STAND much of a Chance unless its SPEED is Vastly Quicker and it Attacks from Behind.
The White Spike looks like it would take care of a Xenomorph and Engineer with NOT too much Problem. It also looks a BIT like one of the New Monsters from ALIENS: Fireteam.

Exactly thats a Good Point, i was also suggesting when i said "Bored" it was in Context that its NOT just a case they was Bored, i think its OPEN for Debate and the Reason could Change depending on the Layer of the Creation Cake.
With Weyland i think in Part it was to Push the Boundaries to Show as to HOW much of a Great Inventor/Innovator he was. It was to give him a bit of a EGO boost as in Creating David it showcases as to HOW GREAT our Mr Weyland was, but then YES we saw that David was merely a Butler for Mr Weyland.
Regarding Religion and Mythos i got the Impression it was to Encompass all of these as merely our Interpretations of Interactions with the Engineers, and i think this is WHY we saw RS call Christ a Emissary and so i think in Context to the Franchise then its likely that there were more of these Emissaries who had came throughout History and to Different Parts of the Earth.
If you look at it from the Engineers POV and say they have a Culture thats like that of Monks or the Amish then they would see some Societies as Sinful with many Vices, while they would see some Cultures as Living in Ways that would appease the Engineers.
I think a LOT of Problems come from the Writers/Producers and Directors seeming to Change their Minds or NOT be on the same Page.
A Big Problem i have is about the BIO-WEAPON.. it makes Little Sense.
Not if the Engineers are Creators but sometimes they have to RESET a World to Rebuild again. We got the Impression the Sacrificial Scene was of Great Importance and a Benevolent Event, it seems the Engineers would come and Visit us over and over, where they Evolve us both Genetically and Technologically (inc Knowledge/Tools). It seems their Earliest interactions are over 35'000 Years ago.
IF say LV-223 was a Purpose Build Facility for the Creation of a Bio-Weapon to use on Mankind or other Creations, then we have to ASK as to WHY had that Maintained Control for 33'000+ Years before LOSING Control over 2000 Years ago?
WHY do they Leave Star Maps to such a Place? We know it was NOT a Invitation, so the Engineers were NOT expecting us to ever go to this Place. If they never Expected/Wanted us to go to this Place then it surely cant be a TRAP either.
Was it a WARNING?
To me i then have to Consider was this Place something ELSE before it was then TURNED into a Place to Produce Horrors and was those who had USED this Place and the Gift/Goo to Produce something Unholy the ones we should be looking at FALLEN.
The Plot can be OPEN to Interpretation and Explored in a Number of Ways. It depends on WHAT we use for Source of Information and Clues, if we look at Spaights Pitch, and Prometheus as FAR as the Full Sacrificial Scene we have YET to see, then it seems that Humanity/Mankind was Very Much a desired and Intended Outcome.... its a Question in this Context if our Creation was something a Group of Engineers had DONE where they was NOT Permitted to do so by their Hierarchy or Creators.
We see that David has used the GIFT to Create Horrors, but if he then goes to use the GIFT to Genetically Alter/Evolve those Human Embryos into a NEW kind of Mankind then he would ESSENTIALLY be using the Creation Tool without the Permission of the Engineers Hierarchy also.
It could be the Sacrificial Scene was NEVER to Create Humanoids, but that a Group of Engineers (or Sub-Created Group) had Decided to use the TOOL to Create Life/Evolve it in their Image... without the Consent of their Hierarchy or Creators.
I think a way to look at it could be that we have to see it from the Engineers POV and that its about Creation more than to Create a Pesticide and that we are NOT at all Unique we are a Footnote and their are Many More Worlds where the Engineers have Created/Evolved and Nurtured Civilizations.
To come back to the Weapon.... to Reclaim Worlds to Reset, then to me DROPPING DOWN say Thousands of Urns with Sacrificial Goo is the PERFECT RESET, the Goo that Creates Deacons, Hammerpedes, Neomorphs is NOT so Perfect.... this makes more Sense if at a POINT the Engineers (or some) wanted to EVOLVE worlds to have this DNA instead of their own Humanoid DNA.
The only other Reasons is for Sinister Intentions to Deliberately cause Terror and Suffering. To have such a Hatred for your Creations.... and so maybe the Engineers on LV-223 and their Change of Heart is similar to David and HOW he has viewed Mankind/Engineers after Years of being Mistreated, and seeing his Creators and their Creators are Unworthy Creations.
As Chris has said, the movie’s creators have leant heavily on Prometheus and Covenant, but I suspect the writers have been reading these forums too! I penned a suggestion here a couple of years back that the Engineer ship could be “alive” and had the ability to fire “darts” from its skin. When I saw the White Spike firing darts, I thought hmmm…
I think it would be a close call in a fight. But I’d have to give the win to the Neomorph because it seems to be more devious and sneaky. Also they’re a bit more purposeful and don’t flollop about the place.

That changes the fundamental relationship between a creator and created and is entirely different to a Mysterious God Creator and the created. Its not a mystery its nuts and bolts and thats why Weyland/David is vital to the story we see a creation hanging out with its creator and if David doesn't do as he is told its curtains (the weyland/david script dialogue). That is not about a creation which offers free will to its creations, it puts the created under an obligation. Many humans have children and unconsciously do the same thing the children are there to gratify their parents needs.
The audacity of Prometheus is mankind was made by dark angels and by extension is a small tributary of creation.
It's fairly clear that Damon and Ridley knew the reason for mankind's proposed annihilation was connected to Christ.
As a wonderful Catholic Theologian wrote that means that the second part of the story would have explained that the annihilation of the Moon Engineers was over an argument between the Universal Engineers (The Waterfall)and Gnostic Engineers. (The Moon) over their view of "Christ".
The Universal Engineers allow the Gnostic's to set up anthrax island but when they created and then wished to destroy they drew a line in the sand.
In Ridleys Hennessy advert you can see that being played out.
Here is more of the surmise.
So how has that original premise been modified in the final movie? (Christ was an Alien) Simple. These very religious Engineers, who are highly sympathetic to Jesus and his message, are completely appalled at the human race’s treatment of him. That’s all; Jesus doesn’t have to be an alien. Who Jesus is can be left to the viewer to decide. (For example, was he a liar, a lunatic, or the Lord of the Universe?)
That latter point is very important in terms of potential story and its impact on Elizabeth. In my story she is essentially following Christ's footsteps does not know it and the further on she goes the less certain she is of what she believes she is following.
However if the Universal Engineers are responsive to "Christ" "Father why have you forsaken me." Everything that has happened and not happened on the Moon and to the Derelict makes sense. But I emphasise the point that does not make Christ the christ of the bible anymore than it makes Elizabeth the Elizabeth of the bible even though both had miraculous births.
The beauty of having a near miss with religious beliefs is you can see how easy it is for us to get the wrong end of the stick which is so beautifully exemplified by Weyland and Elizabeth.
The reality of this story is there is no christ no religion there are just Engineered outcomes and like any Engineered solution some part of it might not work once its built.
What is the practical application of Gifts that donate and seed everything they are and add something to the building blocks of creation.
What is the practical application of building an ageless brilliant child that is created to serve. David and the guy who offers what David thought was a benediction might well have a lot in common.

I think that while the PLOT in Parts had Changed there seemed to be a CORE BACKGROUND that the Reasons the Engineers had gone through the Sacrificial Scene and Seeding of Worlds seems to be of some BENEFIT to their kind and IT as well as their Interactions with their Creations seemed to come from a Benevolent Place.
I think we can be assured there are a NUMBER of Layers of Creation
So its always Interesting to Wonder what Ridley Scott had implied by NOT wanting to MEET GOD in the First Movie, and this goes in HAND with Dr Shaw wanting to KNOW as to WHO had Created them. The Elders being the Hierarchy at the TIME the Movie was Shot... Their Removal was in Part as RS felt the Scene gave away too much, it also seemed they was NOT really Pleased on HOW they came across.
They looked like more OLD FRAIL versions of our other Prometheus Engineers and so they NEVER really had that Godlike look, so we could Speculate if RS had Plans to Change or Replace them with something more AWE inspiring. But in REALITY we saw them Replaced with something that was LESS SUPERIOR than the Sacrificial/LV-223 Engineers. But i guess you could look at it as Mankind are the Creators of the more Superior Replicants and Synthetics, so i am Drawn to that being the Conclusion.
I think its Interesting to look at WHY would you Create Something and there are Many Reasons for this, it does not have to be JUST BECAUSE. Various Mythos and Religions and Cultures can give us Numerous Reasons for why the GODS/GOD would Create us. We had David say to Holloway how would HE feel if his Creators said the same to him (we Created you because we could). And i dont think we would have been SHOWN that it was a Case of the Engineers being BORED and just going to TEST and SHOW OFF that they can Create.
With Weyland we could see that the Creation of David was the Pinnacle of his Genius and to HIGHLIGHT to HOW GREAT a Scientist that Weyland was. We do see Weyland say that David is the Closest thing to a Son and so there was some kind of NEED for Companionship but more so David was a Servant of his Father.
We also can look Beyond those and then Look at the Practical Reasons for Creating a David or a Replicant and these would be to PERFORM TASKS that these Creating Beings could do more EFFICIENT, Tasks that could also be Difficult or Dangerous for Humans and so thats another GOOD Reason to Sub-Create. I also Guess that Frustration that you CANT Create could be a Good Reason to WANT to Create Also.
So it can be Quite Open for the Reasons for Creation... i think with Prometheus and Dr Shaw then this is ONE of the Main Questions she would want Answered. This is something that could have Answered in a Number of Ways or the Engineers could REFUSE to even give her any Reason. WHY if they had it where Paradise was FAR FAR away then the Engineers she would MEET could have NO IDEA that Mankind was even Created!
This is in PART why they had a Tricky Plot to Continue.... if they are OFF to the Engineers World where there are Numerous Inhabitants and they are Technologically Advanced and they HATE HUMANS then the OUTLOOK for Dr Shaw arriving to then GET ANSWERS could be something that does-not go down as well and ENDS up being as QUICK a Meeting as Peter Weylands meeting with his Maker and his DEMANDS.
But they JUST needed a Writer who could THINK outside the BOX or take into Account the WHOLE PLOT.... it seemed that the Engineers had NOT wanted to have us Destroyed from the GET GO... the Creation of Mankind and Thousands of Years they Visited us seems to IMPLY some Considerable Effort and Time.
Ridley Scott has indicated that the Engineers had Decided to Destroy us because we had OFFENDED them, we had NOT turned out in the WAY they wanted in regards to HOW we was Expected to BEHAVE, he also said the Engineers saw us as a Threat.
But you can liken that to David, you can see with Alien Covenant that his Behavior is NOT what you would want your Servant Robots to be behaving like, he has become a THREAT and Danger. If others of his KIND had Started to Behave in the same WAY then Humanity would have to Conclude we have to DESTROY these A.I before we get a TERMINATOR on our Hands.
When we look at Mankind and the WHOLE Process of our Creation would the Engineers had been so Niave to PUT ALL THEIR EGGS IN ONE BASKET?
If the Engineers had Seeded/Taken other Humans to other WORLDS then for Earth its ONLY because we Started to Disobey them, become more Sentient, as RS said they sent down a Emissary to TRY and Change our Ways and its the way we Reacted to that which was the FINAL STRAW.
NOW.... if they had other Worlds with Humans who are Behaving in ways that Please the Engineers, then THIS is a Good Reason for WHY they was to go to such Extreme Lengths on Earth.... they have other Worlds with Humanoid Creations and so the LOSS of ONE is not a Big Issue... After the FAILURE of the Mission, its LIKELY they had Abandoned the Earth..... they saw our PATH as ONE where would eventually DESTROY ourselves and i think in their Naivety they thought without the Engineers then Mankind would NEVER Advance and more likely we would go backwards to Barbaric Cave Men!
If they went for something like THIS then Dr Shaw could have arrived at a World thats FAR FAR FAR away, and maybe could have been looked at with Intrigue by the Engineers and they may even Determine she is a GOOD SOUL and she could be Welcomed to Paradise...
But the Engineers would KNOW that Mankind on Earth has Advanced to be able to TRAVEL the Stars, and Reach the Engineers Anthrax Island if you would and USE their Technology (via David) and so while they may SPARE our Dr Shaw, they would LIKELY want to GO and DESTROY the Earth.
The Question then would be HOW would Dr Shaw feel about this, Especially if she found out the Engineers had MANY Worlds with Humans and Humanoids on, but NOW they are going to DESTROY the Earth and Pondering whether they should DO the SAME with the other WORLDS.
I would ASSUME that Dr Shaw would WANT to Prevent them.... so YES they had NOT Written themselves into a Corner, it just Needed some Thought.... but with FOX seeing the reaction to Alien V they thought the Fans wanted to CHANGE the Story to be about the MONSTER and its Origins and so the Potential of a Prometheus 2 was LOST.

Kogyotsushin confirms it was #1 for the weekend having opened in 364 screens--roughly 70 less than the last three live action Godzilla movies, but over 200 more than the anime films. (Eiga)

Godzilla vs. Kong will be the largest Hollywood opening in Japan this year with a two day opening weekend estimate of $4.3 million ($5.6 million estimated three day opening). It's possible that number could exceed $6 million when the actuals drop.
The opening stomps every Hollywood movie released in Japan this year and surpasses the final gross of Wonder Woman 1984, which finished with $5.1 million USD and only 370,000 in attendance. Tom & Jerry is currently the highest grossing 2021 Hollywood film in Japan with $7.3 million. Attendance numbers for Godzilla vs. Kong are not yet in.
Unfortunately it misses all 3 of the former live action Godzilla movies, only beating the anime films which were opened in 2/3 less theaters. This is largely due to covid theater restrictions and rising numbers in Tokyo.
I always find it fascinating when deep fans say they do not know what was going on in Prometheus.
1) Humanoid Life is created by the sacrifice of a being who imbibes the Genesis Cup, disintegrates, the essence attacks basic DNA strands and turns it into something more sophisticated. This is the perfect back drop to A L I E N where intervention of a different kind leads to a monster. Its about intervened creation.cf Dave the Robot.
2) Millions of years later Weyland in search of more life and Elizabeth in search of God set off to the source of humanity and find their creators do not like them, were engaged in making monsters and would have replaced them with an upgrade if it had not all "gone to pot." Charlie tells the audience the earth is just a Pietrie Dish and Elizabeth asks if these guys made us who made them.
3) At the end of the movie Elizabeth sets of to the Engineers Home world 'or where they came from' a world which had ignored both the facility and the derelict. So obviously head office was no longer interested in pursuing their Promethean renegades.
What would she find? Based on Ridleys remarks in the documentary:-
1) Mankind was a footnote and of no consequence except of course by turning up it would be.
2) The creature was a grace note.
Elizabeth would have discovered that their is no abrahamic God and David would have found it is not entirely 'because you can.'
What we never got to discover is why the guys on LV223 and the guy in the derelict were just left to rot. Logic would dictate given the name of the movie and that Ridley said the movie was about stolen technology (The Genesis Cup) that they had been naughty and rebelled against the master plan so exquisitely shown in the first few minutes.
Can you make a movie out of that for fans of the creature. NO which maybe is why Damon left and there was the slow move toward Covenant which pleased no one.

Essentially Prometheus provided us with two answers to a mystery and then created another.
We found out that the creature in the chair was a humanoid and the race he belonged to lived on anthrax island and made monsters and they all perished for their trouble.
So the next part was simple who made them and where did they come from.
Ridley thought if he destroyed those on their home planet and made David the creator of the creature which he believed people wanted back was a better outcome than to send Elizabeth on her quest for the adamic question "why why did you hate us and why did you make us."
If you base your analysis on core fandom its pretty clear that the number of creature fans who want their world inhabited by philosophical journeys is small. Equally in my cohort we recognise A L I E N as a superior slasher movie which Ridley tried (and failed) to take into a much broader canvas.
On this I would defend Damon Lindelof because he recognised the risk and said as much before Prometheus was released.
Why half a dozen people continue to discuss this on a forum is because Ridley is great at adverts he teases and he does it very very well. He leaves you room to speculate and discuss as does Lindelof and in the case of Prometheus because there will never be an artistically legitimate follow up (Covenant is a denial of those questions) the void is big.
So to return to your point Elizabeth did begin that journey you describe she just never reached anywhere and certainly good story telling would not have been about her landing on a plaza in down town Paradise and marching up to someone and saying why did you make me and anyway Charlie had already given her the answer?

Yeah, I don't think Disney will touch the Engineers. How are you going to cast them? What Actors are going to want to play tall muscular bald albinos?
I'd rather Elizabeth travel around the galaxy unable to find another living Engineer. Finding nothing but statues and corpses and trying to find out just WHAT killed them.
Set on Earth? Uggh.
So this is a reset / reboot?
If the xeno / Engineers are on Earth all this time! ..then I find it hard to believe Weyland corp didn't find out, or the military or a million other orgs.
This is sounding like a Predator series. Xenos in suburbia.

Box office commentator Luiz Fernando claims Godzilla vs. Kong had a $2.3 million Saturday. Up from Friday, but lower than King of the Monsters' Saturday in 2019. ($3.4 million USD). Current estimate total is $3.6 million+. Official estimates tomorrow and actuals on Tuesday.
