I honestly think they obscured them due to the suits' condition. 17 years is really pushing it for these things and I have a sneaking suspicion that was actually the Final Wars promo suit in a few shots.

Eitherway, my only complaint is that they hid the fight behind some larger buildings. I get creating a sense scale is good, but drowning everything out is different
This is Interesting a LOT depends on HOW we see the Xenomorph, in ALIEN it was more Bio-Mechanical, then we saw in the other Movies... the QUEEN looks a LOT LOT LESS say Mechanical than the ORIGINAL XENOMORPH... but then in ALIEN 3 and ALIEN R our Xenomorphs appear to be LESS MECHANICAL than the ORIGINAL TOO.
So we have to look at them as a ORGANISM.....
In the Drafts it was indicated the Xenomorph would EAT as it Grows..... the Neomorph in Alien Covenant was getting STUCK into Rosenthal.....
With ACID BLOOD i think we have to look at them Consuming Nutrients like a Spider or Fly would..... They may ONLY NEED a LITTLE to Survive and so we wont see Xenomorphs like Shredding a Human to the Bones...
The way i would Explore it would be that they Collect Dead Organisms that they have KILLED or also USE a Dead Host after the Birth of a Chest Buster. These Corpses are PLACED in the HIVE where the Hive Walls would SLOWLY Remove Matter/Dissolve the Corpses to Produce Nutrients that it STORES and the Xenomorphs can then OBTAIN these from the HIVE WALLS...
But they can also IF NEEDED be able to Obtain Nutrients from SUCKING on a Hosts if you get what i mean.... so the INNER JAW can Act like a Proboscis of a Fly/Mosquito etc.
I think a TV Show about the FALL OF HADLEYS HOPE could work.... i am NOT sure we would see ONE however...

Even having BISHOP as a Sleep Agent.... or another Synthetic on the SHIP that the REST of the Crew are Unaware of.
So a Hadleys Hope TV Show would be LESS RISK than what it seems they are going for.
I think we have to look at it more SIMPLE....
IF there are to be Praetorians that Guard a Queen/Hive then it would make SENSE if the Queen releases Pheromones that prevents other Xenomorphs from MOLTING to a Queen. The Queen should have a SINGLE TASK.... to STAY HOME and Produce Eggs. (But if her Hive is Destroyed or looks in Danger then SHE if we should call her that... so the Queen should then MOVE to another Location looking to Procreate Again).
If the Queen is AWAY for whatever Reason (say Captured) or is Killed/Dies, then after a Few Days of NOT having any Pheromones near the Hive then the Praetorians would then Begin to MOLT into a Queen.
Is there a way where a Praetorian would be able to Determine who becomes the NEXT QUEEN in any other Physiological Way? Or are they CLOSER to the Animal Kingdom......
What would PREVENT say 3-4 Praetorians from becoming a Queen?
Can these Queens then Co-Exist? Do they FIGHT and the Winner becomes the Queen?
Or would some LEAVE the Hive to begin a NEW HIVE somewhere else?
Looking at a Praetorian in this Context would seem Logical and so in Context to my Reply then YES.... having a Praetorian as a NOT MATURE QUEEN, who are Prevented from becoming a Queen of a HIVE via a Pre-existing Queens Pheromones or something would MAKE SENSE.
This is a TOUGH QUESTION
It depends on IF we are talking about Physically.
We have to Remember that David the Synthetic is Smaller than Sapper Morton the Replicant. I would say vs a Replicant like Roy Batty then Synthetics like David and Ash and Bishop would be Stronger, it seems Synthetics are Quicker.
So you could have a 6ft5" same Build as Morton in a Synthetic and with that Extra Bulk you could have more Power/Strength in the Synthetic Muscles etc to make a Synthetic that would TOSS the Engineers around like RAG DOLLS.
Replicants are Organic, and so would TAKE LESS say Damage than a Synthetic, and have a Degree of Mortality compared to a Synthetic. If your Synthetic looses its Legs its Easier to Repair/Replace than if this Happened to a Organic Replicant.
So my VOTE is a Synthetic.
If you NEEDED someone to BLEND IN and NOT be able to TELL them apart from a Human (Espionage say) then THIS is where a Replicant is better. To Discover/Uncover if someone is a SYNTHETIC or NOT is much Easier.

It occurs to me that something about Singular Point Season 2 could potentially pop up given that a Singular Point Panel is happening early on! Hopefully someone mentions something about the future.
As someone who, for a good chunk of my life, was constantly bullied and viewed as an "outcast" because of my love of monster movies like Godzilla and King Kong, I would LOVE to see the kaiju/giant monster genre be as popular as superhero movies. Sadly, though I don't see it happening anytime soon. :(
