oh spat!
random house put these out! not dark horse!
sorry :(
HinikunaGoji,
Given that the Sony partnership does not include the Monsterverse, which will continue to be distributed by WB, along with Dune 2, I don't see how that would effect it. That said, I don't see Biollante being in the film.
Xenotaris is right. To be fair, Mothra and Rodan were standalone movies of their own before Toho crossed them with Godzilla. Th franchise has always embraced and adopted other, unrelated films to expand. Hell, Invasion of Astro-Monster only exists because of the success of movies like Battle in Outer Space.
I will pity vote Shunosaurus because yes.
probably had too much Christmas pudding and stuff at the annual kaiju get together
Gigan let himself go between Godzilla: Final Wars and Godzilla vs Gigan Rex
Cool Godzilla
That would be sad, lol
let see monsters that originally weren't godzilla monsters: Mothra, Rodan, Meganulon, Varan (who was loosely connected to Godzilla), Frankenstein and his spawn Sanda and Gaira, the Matango, Dogora, Manda, Baragon, Gorosaurus, and King Kong
Yeah this is the Alien forum, we talk about Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, Prometheus, and Alien Covenant.... and sometimes Alien vs Predator since the AVP forums no longer work properly
Also with Comic Gojis I take height w/ a grain of salt. Its almost always inconsistent with the building around the kaiju
Sanda and Gaira were also originally going to be in Destroy all Monsters
I haven’t heard of any rights being sold to WB or Legendary from Toho.
And based on Legendary partnering w/ Sony I don’t expect them to buy another kaiju for a while
my favorite Kaiju is Mothra, Godzilla (Heisei, Tri-Star/Zilla, Kiryu saga, Monsterverse), King Ghidorah, Monster X/Kaiser Ghidorah, Desghirdorah, Mothra Leo, Battra, Gigan, Kong, Gorosaurus, Varan, Baragon, Bagan/Bakan, and MechaGodzilla (Kiryu and Monsterverse)
wait the Godzilla franchise has always swallowed up other monster movies into its core canon ever since King Kong vs Godzilla, heck Varan the Magnificent alluded to the events of Gojira (1954)
wait Dark Horse made a Godzilla comic? The only two comic incarnations I am aware of is the shitty Marvel one and the much better IDW comics one
change your password or log off so he can't cause chaos
YES, he tends to have terrible spelling lol
maybe make a separate account for your brother?
oh, that makes sense! explains why you sometimes have terrible spelling!
Okie, I'll try, but he listens to NO ONE lol
Very Impressive!
Then stop giving him access.
Absolutely not, You advice is very helpful and you are certainly not an annoyance, You seem to be VERY smart about many thing and you leaving, i'm sure, would make people sad, So no, I don't think you should leave, AT ALL
This was VERY helpful, thank you very much
Yeah, i've read them, And I think you're absolutely right, nobody really DOES notice it.
I love this place
very sry, my little brother goes is also a fan of godzilla and I let him Post things but he always goes way to far
I've got a bunch of hand-drawn titan profile, but just wanted to make sure you wanted me to post them or not :)
Im starting to think that God_Zilla might be a bot, or someones alt account for topic-drowning.
what about Hello Kitty, Hamtaro, etc.
Its not a new thing. And it’s not like when I go onto the goji store all I see is SJHU.
Most like Godzilla toys I’ve seen in stores aren’t even related to other IPs
Marketing isnt the end of the world (when it comes to franchises that is)
exactly, nobody cares about tradition anymore, all they care about is destruction and building getting knocked down.
its a problem i have with modern godzilla these days, the franchise appears to getting invaded by other franchises.
in japan, everything that godzilla does has some sort of tie to evangelion or shin japan heros.
in america, whenever you see a monsterverse godzilla product it always has kong slapped on it.
basically, the godzilla franchise has an infestation of other franchises in it.
