Mass Effect: Andromeda, the highly anticipated continuation of BioWare and EA's sci-fi RPG saga, will be landing in North America on March 21, 2017 and in Europe on March 23rd, as confirmed on its official website. This announcement was accompanied by a new trailer which showcased a mixture of both cinematics and gameplay, which you can enjoy below.
Despite not being a reboot, Andromeda will not be a direct sequel to the previous instalments. Instead, it takes place 600 years after the adventures of Commander Shepard and will feature an all new cast of characters, with new planets and alien species to interact with.
It may seem hard to believe, but Andromeda will be arriving a full five years after the previous entry in the series, Mass Effect 3 back in 2012. And judging from its frightfully realistic graphics and its promise of a much larger, more expansive open world, it seems like it's gonna be worth the wait.
