<p>King Kong and Batman in the same movie? No, you’re not dreaming, it's actually happening. The Caped Crusader and the giant ape will finally share the screen later this year, and as fans of both characters, we couldn't be happier.</p>
The website Flickering Myth recently sat down with Chris McKay and Dan Lin, the director and producer of <em>The Lego Batman Movie</em>, who confirmed that King Kong will indeed appear in the film alongside other Warner Brothers-owned characters such as Voldermort the evil wizard from the <em>Harry Potter</em> franchise. We don’t know too much at this point about the role Kong will serve in <em>The Lego Batman Movie</em>, but we're guessing he will be going on the rampage throughout Gotham City. It looks like Batman is going to have his work cut out for him.</p>
<p>We'll be seeing the unlikely duo of vigilante superhero and giant primate together when <em>The Lego Batman Movie</em> arrives on February 10. We won't have too long to wait afterwards for Kong's next cinematic outing, as <em>Skull Island</em> will be released on March 10.</p>
