With filming set to begin this year on the Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi series, a fresh report has surfaced suggesting the studio is looking to cast the role of a young Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa as well! The news comes from a casting call sheet discovered online which outlines "...an undisclosed Disney live action feature is searching for a blonde male with blue eyes aged between 8-11, as well as a brunette female talent, aged 8–11, with brown eyes." - Suffice to say this matches up with the timeline with which the Kenobi series will be set (8 years after the events of Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith) and also the aesthetic properties unique to both young Luke and Leia.
Ewan Mcgregor will be returning as the lone guardian of Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi in the new series and it's also been rumored that Joel Edgerton - who played Uncle Owen in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith will be reprising his role as well.
Although Disney has yet to confirm speculation that the casting call was for the Obi-Wan series - it's too coincidental not to consider.
